Privacy Policy
Draft text, filenames, change groups, merge decisions, and generated exports stay in this browser tab. Mallow Diff does not upload them to an application server.
Text you enter or open
The application reads only text you paste, type, or explicitly open. Draft bytes, filenames, comparison results, change groups, decisions, and export blobs are handled in browser memory. They are not sent to an application API, account, analytics service, URL, cookie, or server database by this application.
Display preferences
The application may use local storage under mallow-text-diff/preferences/v1 for the comparison unit, result layout, and ignore switches. It does not store draft text, filenames, results, decisions, clipboard contents, or download history.
Browser worker and clipboard
A dedicated browser worker calculates differences. Copying the merged result asks the browser clipboard only after you press Copy text. When clipboard access is blocked, the result is selected so you can copy it manually.
Files and exports
UTF-8 text files are opened locally. Merged text and unified diff downloads are generated from in-memory content inside the tab. The application does not provide cloud storage, accounts, collaboration, or shareable draft URLs.
Hosting and technical requests
The service host may process routine request information such as an IP address, user agent, requested application URL, request time, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Draft text and filenames are not intentionally included in those requests. There is currently no first-party analytics tracker, application database, or application cookie.
Advertising status
Production builds include a non-executable Google AdSense account meta tag solely for site-ownership verification. There are currently no AdSense execution scripts, manual ad units, Auto ads, advertising cookies, or consent-management platform in this app. This policy and the interface will be updated before advertising behavior changes.
